The timeline for replacement of the door entry system has been moved up. The fitness center will be CLOSED beginning 7:30 am on Wednesday, February 22, through Friday, February 24 at 4 pm.
This new entry system will require fob replacement. Please watch for updates regarding scheduled times to exchange your fob.

DISTRICT NEWS: School District of Gilman Hosts a Community Economic Analysis for Rural Wisconsin Communities Focused on Quality of Life and our Local Economy
We are excited to share an update on a new project within the School District of Gilman area. Our community submitted an application that was selected to participate in a program with UW-Madison's Division of Extension and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. We were one of five selected across Wisconsin!
A team of community representatives has committed to working with a multi-disciplinary team of experienced Extension educators and specialists on a Rural Wisconsin Communities strategic planning program, called Community Economic Analysis for Rural Wisconsin Communities. So far, we have conducted three of four planning sessions where we:
-analyzed community and economic data,
-learned more about community quality of life factors,
-conducted an environmental scan, and
-clarified the strategic issues and challenges that the community can work together to address
The next steps include developing our action and implementation plan to address the following big questions:
How will we make our community more attractive with a vibrant Main Street?
How can we create an incentive to increase community engagement and volunteerism?
How will we work with Aspirus to deliver continuous coverage with qualified EMTs?
How will we develop a growth mindset within the community to overcome existing or current attitudes to improve our residents' quality of life?
Looking ahead, we will plan for multiple ways to gather additional public input, and we are excited to have you involved and to hear from you to strengthen this community initiative.
