The School District of Gilman is seeking qualified and interested candidates from the community to fill a vacancy on the School Board. If you are interested please submit a letter of interest to the District Office by May 10, 2019. The School Board anticipates conducting interviews on May 13 or 20, 2019, at 7pm.

Mr. Pockat, Mr. Hess and Mr. Johnson visited Cardinal Manufacturing Workshop at the Eleva-Strum High School on April 18th, 2019. Cardinal Manufacturing has had great success since its beginning years in 2008-2009 with their Technology Education school driven business and hopes to continue the success with expanding each year. This model of education is working well for their students. Gaining this real-life manufacturing experience has taught them so many skills and has given them a pathway to a successful future. Following the Nexen Ten Commandments for Career Success and gaining technical skills within the program here at Cardinal Manufacturing really sets them ahead for their future. Ultimately achieving our goal of “Filling the Skills Gap One Student at a Time.”

The Varsity Baseball game for today, April 15, has been been POSTPONED and will be played at a later date.
Due to Neillsville cancelling school today, the Middle School Track Meet scheduled for today is postponed and moved to Tuesday, April 16.

Individuals elected to the School District of Gilman Board of Education include Cheryl Ustianowski, Sherri Dmytro, and Gina Timm.
The elected individuals will take an oath of office at the April 22, 2019, Regular School Board Meeting at 7 PM.
In the event that an individual does not take the oath of office and declines to take a position on the Board, the Gilman Board of Education will have a vacancy and the Board of Education will determine how they will proceed to fill the vacancy at that point.
