Z100 and Hot Country B95 will be broadcasting an on-air commencement for graduating seniors across our region starting at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 23. Between the times of 1:18-1:34 PM, a special message will be shared about the 2020 graduates of Gilman High School. Additionally, if you signed up to have your student's name announced on air, it will read after the message is shared. The broadcast can be listened to on the radio or at www.z100radio.com/listen on the iHeartRadio App. Congratulations to the Class of 2020!

Attention Seniors - Cap and gown pickup will occur on Friday, May 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please park outside of Door 1 (main office) to receive your curbside delivery. If you are unable to pick-up your cap and gown Friday, please contact Mr.Hess to schedule an appointment.

Due to the weather, there will be no food delivery today. (4/13/2020)

We will light up our football field at 8 p.m, tomorrow night, April 10 for 20 minutes. This is in honor of all our Gilman Pirate athletes.

A new link has been added under “Resources” on the district’s COVID-19 webpage called the “Assignment Tracker” to inform parents/guardians of their student’s assignments and activities for the school week.

Any student that wishes to check out books can email Mrs. Gallett and she can get them ready to go home with your packets from your teachers. To find a book: Go to our district web page and click on Menu - then click on Our Students - then click on Library Resources - then click on Gilman School and then you can search for a book. Whether it be reading, working on homework, PE class, art projects or even a Zoom meeting with the teacher or another classmate, etc, anything that you would like to share. This is an important update regarding school closure. There is no school in the School District of Gilman starting on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 as a result of the statewide school closure. This closure will remain in effect until federal, state, or local officials indicate we can reopen.
Later this week, teachers will communicate with families and students regarding learning activities and digital instruction. Digital instruction will begin on Monday, March 30, 2020.
Please fill out the survey for school meals. School meals will begin March 30, 2020.
If you need assistance with internet access for your child’s access to digital learning please contact us.
Please visit the District website often for important updates and information as to when the school building will reopen.

To celebrate Read Across America Week Ms. Carlson's 4th Grade class went to the book swap room. The students can bring in books from home and then swap them out for different ones that are new to them.


Check out these drawings that Mrs. Thompson drew about 10 years ago for Read Across America Week. The drawings were used for a scavenger hunt, the students needed to match the drawing with the book.





The Lady Pirates Basketball team will be playing at Clear Lake tomorrow night (2/29/20) starting at 7 pm.
