CONGRATULATIONS SENIORS - YOUR SPECIAL DAY IS HERE:

GRADUATION FRIDAY, MAY 24, 2013 @ 8:00PM IN THE HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASIUM

There will be admission to the baseball game on Friday, May 24, 2013 @ Casper Park in Chippewa, the cost is $4.00.

SENIORS THIS IS A REMINDER THAT THERE ARE NO WATER BOTTLES ALLOWED FOR THE SENIOR LOCK IN.

Any girls basketball players interested in attending basketball camp in Stevens Point should contact Coach Skabroud at 668-5720. Currently 4 High School Girls are signed up and 2 Jr. High Girls. Jr. High Camp is June 19-21 and High School Camp is June 26-28.

Any Girls interested in joining basketball and wanting to play summer basketball should also contact Coach Skabroud, more details will be on the announcements in the future.

FFA members interested in showing animals or educational projects at the Taylor County Fair please see Mrs. Kopp for an Entry Form. The fair booklets are online this year-visit http://www.witaylorcountyfair.com/ to look at the departments and classes. Forms due to Mrs. Kopp by May 31st! She can help you fill your forms out if needed! Sign up for the Summer Ag. Class!

2012-2013 High School Yearbooks are for sale in the Agriculture Room! Books are $45 (make check payable to Gilman Yearbook). Buy your book before June 1st! This year's theme is "Organized Chaos."

WHAT: INAUGURAL PIRATE TRIATHLON

WHEN: JUNE 15, 2013

9:00 AM START 2.5 MILE RUN

2.5 MILE CANOE/KAYAK

15 MILE BIKE

Compete in the Inauguaral Pirate Triathlon at the Miller Dam Boat Landing. Triathlon begins with a 2.5 mile run along Miller Dam followed by a 2.5 canoe or kayak down the flowage and ending with a 15 mile bike ride into Gilman.

Pre-registration fee is $25 per person and the pre-registration deadline is June 1st. Registration after that time is $35 per person, registration fee includes a t-shirt and dairy breakfast at the park following the race.

Other events during June Dairy Days include: Western Taylor County Expo sponsored by Western Taylor County Tourism Committee, 1 mile Fun/Run Walk sponsored by Gilman Lioness and Softball tournament sponsored by CBA. On Sunday, June 16th, is Chicken Barbeque sponsored by CBA.

Any girls between the ages of 16-19 and would like to apply to be a queen candidate for the Gilman Fall Festival please pick up applications in the office asap.

Anyone interested in operating a food booth at the ball field for Lublin Days on July 26 & 27th from 11:00am-4:00pm (proceeds are yours). Searching for candidates for Quee, Junior Miss or Princess for Lublin Days, the categories are Queen ages - 15-18 years, Jr. Miss ages - 11-14 years and Princess ages 7-10 years if interested contact Betty for applications @ 715-669-5162.

Dig into Reading, 2013 Summer Reading Program at the Western Taylor County Public Library - Gilman. This free program is open to chidren in grades 1-6 and story time youngsters and their families.
