Mr. Pockat, Mr. Hess and Mr. Johnson visited Cardinal Manufacturing Workshop at the Eleva-Strum High School on April 18th, 2019. Cardinal Manufacturing has had great success since its beginning years in 2008-2009 with their Technology Education school driven business and hopes to continue the success with expanding each year. This model of education is working well for their students. Gaining this real-life manufacturing experience has taught them so many skills and has given them a pathway to a successful future. Following the Nexen Ten Commandments for Career Success and gaining technical skills within the program here at Cardinal Manufacturing really sets them ahead for their future. Ultimately achieving our goal of “Filling the Skills Gap One Student at a Time.”

Notice of Multiple Intruder Safety Drill
Student, staff, and community safety is the foundation of a high quality learning environment in our schools. Annually we conduct various safety drills. Once a month we conduct a fire drill, in the spring we conduct a tornado drill, and as required by law we conduct at least one intruder drill. During the week of December 10, 2018 we will conduct an internal multiple intruder drill. The purpose of this drill is to evaluate our internal procedures and communication. What we learn during this internal drill will help us prepare for an interagency drill in the spring in which the community will have the opportunity to participate as well.

The Regular Board Meeting for June has been moved to WEDNESDAY, June 13, 2018 at 7:30 pm.

5th and 6th graders going on the Gilman PTO Trip the bus leaves the school at 7:00 a.m. and the bus will return at approximately 8:00 p.m.

The Elementary Honors Day Program will be held in the High School Gym this year. The program starts at 10:00 a.m.

The Gilman High School Baseball game vs. Thorp will start at 4:00 today, 5/30/18

Last day of school is Friday, June 1 it will be a half day of school buses will depart at 12:30

Ceremony season is rapidly approaching as we look forward to celebrating the accomplishments and the achievements of the students throughout the School District of Gilman. We will have 2 referendum informational meetings this week.
The first one will be before the girls basketball game on Tuesday, February 6 @ 6:00 pm in the Gilman High School Commons.
The second will be during Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, February 7 from 5:00 - 7:30 pm.

Friday, January 26th is Gilman Girls basketball alumni night in honor of the 100 year anniversary of the school. All former players and coaches are invited to the game and will be introduced between the JV and Varsity game. Come and reminisce with former teammates. Refreshments will be served after the game in the Commons.

Gilman Girls Basketball 100 yr. Anniversary night is scheduled for Jan. 26, 2018. Watch for more information in the coming weeks.

There will be no JV GIRLS basketball game on Thursday, Dec. 14 with Marshfield. Varsity game will start at 6:30.
There will be no JV BOYS basketball game on Friday, Dec. 15 with Granton. Varsity game will start at 6:30.
